ql-indent-1">子曰:“譬如為山,未成一簣,止,吾止也;譬如平地,雖覆一簣,進(jìn),吾往也。 《論語(yǔ)·子罕》</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">He said, </p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">“Take mounting as an example.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">One moved no kuì dirt anymore with only one left just to make it accomplished.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">Not a move on it any longer,he stopped himself alas.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">Take filling as another likewise.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">One moved a kuì of dirt together with other ones left kissy to make it full.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">More moves in it one after another,he continued himself alas.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1"><br></p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">上不天則下不遍覆,心不地則物不必載。太山不立好惡,故能成其高;江海不擇小助,故能成其富。故大人寄形于天地而萬(wàn)物備,歷心于山海而國(guó)家富。上無(wú)忿怒之毒,下無(wú)伏怨之患,上下交樸,以道為舍。故長(zhǎng)利積,大功立,名成于前,德垂于后,治之至也?!俄n非子·大體》</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">If not the space in heights is wider enough,it doesn’t cover the whole world.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">If not the space in mind is wiser enough,he doesn’t have everything in nature.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">If not the Mount Tai set the wrongs and rights,it doesn’t see his height from.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">If not the water knows where his givings to,it doesn’t harvest what the later fish and creatures.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">The land owners own his land by shaping himself from it and all be in.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">He had all the experience of Shan and Shui from the beginning till the end and the country be well-treated.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">The owners do not harm his people for anger.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">The people do not harm their owners for hatred.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">The owners and people all return their mind for existence of truth.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">The owner and people all feed back where they come from for living.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">He collects what lasts for years.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">He makes what others expect for years.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">The nobilities be considered before deaths.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">The betterment be seen after generations.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">What be called the most united government could be seen.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1"><br></p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">海不辭水,故能成其大;山不辭土石,故能成其高;明主不厭人,故能成其眾;士不厭學(xué),故能成其圣。 《管子·形勢(shì)解》</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">The oceans welcome all kinds of waters.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">He makes its name by “l(fā)arge”.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">The mountains cherish all kinds of stones.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">He make it mind by “above all”.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">The clear minds reject no man.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">He walks with what is called “numerous supporters”.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">The tireless students barked on science.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">He can make himself a name.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1"><br></p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">子曰:“知者樂水,仁者樂山;知者動(dòng),仁者靜;知者樂,仁者壽?!?《論語(yǔ)·雍也》</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">And one continued, </p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">“He who knows loves watering and who minds loves mounting.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">He who knows believes movingly acts and who minds enjoys silently rests.</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">He who is with wisdom be pleased naturally and who is with consciousness be long-lived.”</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1"><br></p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">子在川上曰:“逝者如斯夫,不舍晝夜。” 《論語(yǔ)·子罕》</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">Along a river one continued, </p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">“The flowing waters are what the running hours be compared then.And they chooses no moment when to start and end themselves.”</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1"><br></p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1"><span style="font-size: 18px;">徐子曰:“仲尼亟稱于水,曰:‘水哉,水哉!’何取于水也?”</span></p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">Said Xu Zi(Mengfucius) </p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">“Over and over again,Confucius weighed daos from water and said ‘water’, ‘water’!How water be replaced or appreciated for more?”</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1"><br></p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">孟子曰:“源泉混混,不舍晝夜,盈科而后進(jìn),放乎四海。有本者如是,是之取爾。茍為無(wú)本,七、八月之間雨集,溝澮皆盈,其涸也,可立而待也。故聲聞過情,君子恥之?!薄睹献印るx婁下》</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">Menfucius continued, </p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">“The well of springs be frozen and melted regardless of the nights and days.They fulfill the hollows and do not turn their flows.They will be the over-parts rushing to join their brother called sea.The one which originates the water spare some of it and nothing changed.The one which originates no more than the rains in May or June still be enough fulled the streams till the flows,where it dries up himself for some shorten moments for.So when a study is sure to be developed with a name which is over-used by,he who will surely makes it done would wait for nothing but silence.”</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1"><br></p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">孟子曰:“孔子登東山而小魯,登泰山而小天下。故觀于海者難為水,游于圣人之門者難為言)。觀水有術(shù),必觀其瀾。日月有明,容光必照焉。流水之為物也,不盈科不行;君子之志于道也,不成章不達(dá)。”《孟子·盡心上》</p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">Meng Zi once mentioned, </p><p class="ql-block ql-indent-1">“Confucius once be on top of Mount Dong before he thought it was enough for a mount like Dong to save the nature of the place.When he be on top the Mount Tai he came to a larger map of the world comparing the area of the place. So when one be met in the ocean be naturally impossible attracted by any waters.
