<p class="ql-block">很多年以前，我們退休后的理想是開著房車橫穿美國(guó)和加拿大。喜歡哪里就停下來(lái)直到住夠了再去下一站。誰(shuí)知道計(jì)劃不如變化，搬來(lái)亞城五年。朋友圈越來(lái)越大，活動(dòng)越來(lái)越多。哪里還有浪跡天涯的時(shí)間和心情?？墒窃?jīng)的夢(mèng)依然時(shí)不時(shí)的在心里飄過(guò)。流浪不成了，橫穿還是一定要的。節(jié)前加州老同學(xué)談起找不到楊梅樹，而我身邊正好有朋友有。立馬取來(lái)。四年盆栽己經(jīng)抵達(dá)車頂。而我們又正好打算換車，于是與老公商量:走一趟吧，一了我們多年的夢(mèng)想。加上沿途拜訪在德州的老同學(xué)，以及十多年前從紐約嫁去NM的老朋友。越想越興奮。一切來(lái)的都是如此突然，卻又是機(jī)綠巧合。上半年正好沒有旅游計(jì)劃，只是癡迷壘球的老公不愿意錯(cuò)過(guò)三月下旬春季球賽，二月又還冷，于是決定三月來(lái)一個(gè)快速旅行。除了在加州和維加斯多停留幾天外，每天都在路上。不過(guò)除了第一天和最后一天，每天開車只在四小時(shí)左右。既不太累，又可走馬觀花。</p><p class="ql-block">而此程最重要的是，我們決定三月二號(hào)出發(fā)。二十八年前的今天，無(wú)所畏懼三十歲的我橫飛半個(gè)地球來(lái)到一無(wú)所知美利堅(jiān)。</p><p class="ql-block">感謝老同學(xué)們?cè)缫寻才艤?zhǔn)備，加上老公周到的計(jì)劃，相信這十九天美南東西行一定是我人生中又一次難忘的行程!</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p> <p class="ql-block">三月的俱樂(lè)部已經(jīng)花開滿街了。一切都準(zhǔn)備差不多了，臨行之前卻出了兩個(gè)意外。</p><p class="ql-block">二月二十七號(hào)早上，老公收到養(yǎng)老院電話。他們把老太太送到醫(yī)院去了，因?yàn)樗粑щy。上次去醫(yī)院是兩年前了，同樣的原因。幾通電話后，我們被告知她情況穩(wěn)定。與上次一樣輸血，接氧氣。我心里禱告，可千萬(wàn)別出事兒。</p><p class="ql-block">另外就是老公了。28號(hào)他去洗車，在清理車?yán)飽|西時(shí)扭了一下。他有椎間盤突出，回家時(shí)走路都困難。趕緊讓他休息，冰和熱墊輪流上。到了晚上，不見好也沒有惡化。只能祈禱第二天的奇跡了。果然第二天早上，他輕松的從床上坐起來(lái)。雖然還是小心翼翼的， 卻預(yù)告: 計(jì)劃不變。</p><p class="ql-block">現(xiàn)在開在路上，心情舒暢。家里的一切早已拋到九霄云外。感謝老同學(xué)臨門一腳，否則真的不知道哪一天能實(shí)現(xiàn)橫駕美國(guó)的愿望。而且年紀(jì)不饒人，誰(shuí)知道明天會(huì)是什么樣子? 活在當(dāng)下!</p> <p class="ql-block">三月一號(hào)，第一個(gè)星期二，正好是輪到我們小組伙給收留問(wèn)題家庭孩子的慈善牧場(chǎng)做晚餐。慶幸我們的旅程沒有錯(cuò)過(guò)。好心的朋友讓我準(zhǔn)備最簡(jiǎn)單的頭抬小吃。</p> <p class="ql-block">家里的花兒呀，你們要挨過(guò)十九天哦</p> <p class="ql-block">密西西比州府Jackson是我們打算在去酒店之前打卡的地方， 現(xiàn)在只能在車?yán)锍?。因?yàn)槠牌诺尼t(yī)生打來(lái)電話，通知老公明天他們會(huì)讓婆婆出院。婆婆情況基本穩(wěn)定， 只是她心臟和消化系統(tǒng)衰竭，這是老化，醫(yī)生沒有什么辦法可以改善了。 雖然94歲， 老公聽了還是很黯然。錯(cuò)過(guò)了Jackson 的出口。 人生沒有十全十美的事情， 今天能按計(jì)劃出發(fā)已經(jīng)是謝天謝地了。 三點(diǎn)到達(dá)酒店，休息一下出去吃飯，逛一下這個(gè)密西西比河邊這個(gè)叫Vicksburg的小鎮(zhèn)。</p> <p class="ql-block">三點(diǎn)不到就打尖了。 第一站 密西西比與德州交界的Vicksburg 小鎮(zhèn)。 小鎮(zhèn)在密西西比河邊，小卻相當(dāng)有特色。幸好我們?cè)缇皖A(yù)定了， 偌大的酒店竟然住滿了。我們稍微洗漱休息就開車去了五分鐘外的鎮(zhèn)中心，漫步在街道，河邊。五點(diǎn)等小鎮(zhèn)最高餐館開門，就去找了一個(gè)觀景好座位。在晚霞西下的密西西比河邊慢慢飲著美酒，欣賞著美麗的夕陽(yáng)。</p> <p class="ql-block">為了應(yīng)景，點(diǎn)了Mississippi sunset. 沒有想到非常好喝。老公后來(lái)也要了一杯。</p> <p class="ql-block">餐廳就在這棟大樓的十樓頂層</p> <p class="ql-block">幾近完美的第一天。明天: 達(dá)拉斯 期待</p>
