<h3>月季花（學(xué)名：Rosa chinensis Jacq.）：被稱為花中皇后，又稱“月月紅”，是常綠、半常綠低矮灌木，四季開(kāi)花﹐一般為紅色﹐或粉色、偶有白色和黃色﹐可作為觀賞植物，也可作為藥用植物，亦稱月季。有三個(gè)自然變種，現(xiàn)代月季花型多樣，有單瓣和重瓣，還有高心卷邊等優(yōu)美花型；其色彩艷麗、豐富，不僅有紅、粉、黃、白等單色，還有混色、銀邊等品種；多數(shù)品種有芳香。月季的品種繁多，世界上已有近萬(wàn)種，中國(guó)也有千種以上。
自然花期4月-9月，花成大型，由內(nèi)向外，呈發(fā)散型，有濃郁香氣，可廣泛用于園藝栽培和切花。月季的適應(yīng)性強(qiáng)，耐寒、抗旱，不論地栽、盆栽均可，適用于美化庭院、裝點(diǎn)園林、布置花壇、配植花籬、花架，月季栽培容易，可作切花，用于做花束和各種花籃，月季花朵可提取香精，并可入藥。也有較好的抗真菌及協(xié)同抗耐藥真菌活性。紅色切花更成為情人間必送的禮物之一，并成為愛(ài)情詩(shī)歌的主題。
