A true Sinophile, he has visited China ten times over the past eleven years, and his wife, Kimberly, also a teacher at New Prairie High School, has traveled to China twice. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p> <p>Mr. Lamont Holifield got his B.A. Degree in Mathematics from Roosevelt University in 1998, and having earned three Master’s Degrees, he is now in his 2nd year of UIC’s Ph.D. Program in Mathematics Education. Currently, he is the Division Leader of Mathematics/Science/CTE at Crete-Monee High School. He has developed a passion for working with inner-city youths in the city and surrounding suburbs, and continues to engage in conversations aimed at strengthening the Chinese language program at Crete-Monee. He travelled to China in June, 2019.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p> <p>Dr. Erik Froelich is Assistant Dean for Strategic Initiatives in the College of Engineering, Valparaiso University, who also served as Director for International Strategic Initiatives and has helped develop and support international academic programs, including the joint-engineering program between Valparaiso University and Dalian Jiaotong University.
